Information about Spa Turčianske Teplice

Spa Turčianske Teplice belongs to the places targeted for patients with musculoskeletal diseases, but the patients with diseases of the kidneys, urinary and neurological diseases are treated there also. The Spa and wellness-treatment buildings are located in the center of the city with the same name, beside almost 2 km long park.

Spa Turčianske Teplice is located in the southern part of Turčianska kotlina valley, which is one of the most beautiful valleys in Slovakia, and is therefore called as Turčianska garden. Spa Turčianske Teplice is stretching on the plateau level at a height of 518 m above sea level. Surrounding of Turčianske Teplice belongs to a slightly warm area with fresh air and beautiful scenery. In this region there are also many smaller towns with the original architecture.

Natural wells

Turčianske Teplice belongs to the thermal baths. It is one of the oldest spas on the territory of Slovakia, as people began to take advantage of its healing effects as early as 1402. The water temperature is from 38,5 to 45 °C. The water is hypotonish mineral water with elevated levels of fluorine.
